“Say No to Gambling” Parent Workshop (May 15, 2026)

Instilling healthy lifestyle habits and sound moral values is essential to the growth and development of youngsters. In view of its importance, the Parent-Teacher Association collaborated with the Pastoral Care Committee to host the “Say No to Gambling” Parent Workshop. Facilitated by a professional social worker in an interactive format, the session shed light on the perils of gambling and its harmful impact on adolescent development. It also underscored the importance of both physical and mental well-being while equipping parents with foundational skills in positive discipline. Through professional insights and experience sharing, parents learned practical ways to help their children develop awareness of gambling risks and embrace uprightness. Together, families can foster a supportive environment that empowers the younger generation to thrive.

“Connecting with the E-Generation” Parent Seminar (April 10, 2026)

With the growing prevalence of electronic technology, digital devices and the internet have become integral to the lives of young people. Yet, their frequent use of such products often gives rise to parental concerns and can even become a persistent bone of contention within families. In response to these challenges, the Parent-Teacher Association collaborated with the Computer Literacy and ICT Department to host the “Connecting with the E-Generation” Parent Seminar, which aimed to help parents better understand their children’s online habits and equip them with effective guidance strategies.

The seminar enriched parents’ understanding of their children’s internet usage patterns and provided practical parenting advice on fostering healthy digital habits to instill sound values, constructive attitudes, and responsible behaviors in children as they navigate the online world.

Parent-Child Interactive Booths on Parents’ Day (March 22, 2026)

Our school hosted a series of parent-child interactive booth activities on the second Parents’ Day to foster communication and cooperation between parents and children through diversified experiential engagement and establish a positive family atmosphere. The event featured a parent–child photo zone, a healthy snack station, and hands-on workshops where participants crafted pressed-flower night lights, epoxy resin keychains, and luggage tags, accompanied by display boards on parenting and discipline. Both parents and children engaged wholeheartedly, strengthening family bonds and creating warm, affectionate memories.

“Financial Planning” Parent Workshop (March 18, 2026)

Financial management is an indispensable life skill, closely intertwined with the future development of children. To address this important area, the Parent-Teacher Association, in collaboration with the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority, organized the “Financial Planning” Parent Workshop, inviting professional instructors to provide parents with practical insights into financial literacy. The program explored a wide range of themes, including enhancing parents’ personal financial concepts and skills, planning household finances, and guiding children to adopt sound financial values. Through these sessions, parents were equipped with strategies to integrate financial education effectively into everyday family life.

Parent Workshop: “DIY Chinese Herbal Multi-purpose Ointment” (February 12, 2026)

On February 12, our association hosted a parent workshop entitled “DIY Chinese Herbal Multi-purpose Ointment,” designed to showcase the unique features of our Chinese Medicine Garden and to promote appreciation of traditional herbal wisdom. Guided by the instructor, parents gathered herbs from the garden and learned about their traditional applications before preparing their own personalized moisturizing ointments. The enthusiastic participation created a lively and collaborative atmosphere, making the workshop both informative and rewarding.

Parent-Teacher Association Family Excursion (February 8, 2026)

Our association organized a family excursion on February 8, bringing together parents, students, and teachers for a day of shared discovery and enjoyment. The excursion began with a visit to Ma Wan 1868, followed by a buffet luncheon at the Metropark Hotel Kowloon. In the afternoon, participants toured the Hong Kong Palace Museum, where they explored the special exhibition on Ancient Egyptian Civilization. The outing offered cultural enrichment while strengthening bonds within the school community, leaving all participants with lasting memories.

Parent Volunteers at Our Annual Athletics Meet (December 22-23, 2025)

Parents volunteered at our Annual Athletics Meet to distribute refreshments to teachers and student helpers, and serve as adjudicators of the inter-house cheerleading competition.  Their presence underscored the strong commitment and encouragement they offer for the development of sports.

Parent-Teacher Association Annual General Meeting (December 12, 2025) During the Annual General Meeting, a summary of the year’s key activities and major highlights was shared. The principal also honored the former parent manager and outgoing executive committee members with commemorative crystal plaques, in appreciation of their valuable service and unwavering commitment to our association.

Parent Seminar on "Enhancing Children's Resilience" (December 12, 2025)

To equip parents with a better understanding of the pressures most teenagers are put under, our association organized a seminar led by a social worker from the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups with the aim of fostering resilience in children through positive parenting strategies. Drawing on real-life examples and practical techniques, the speaker emphasized the importance of acceptance, companionship, and open communication in helping youngsters navigate difficulties. Parents found the seminar insightful, noting that it not only broadened their perspective on adolescent stress but also boosted their ability to support their children with greater confidence.

STEAM FAIR Parent Volunteers (December 6, 2025)

At the STEAM FAIR, parent volunteers participated enthusiastically in a charity snack sale featuring popular items like siu mai, curry fish balls, and popcorn. They put in great effort to prepare and serve the food, and all proceeds, without deducting costs, were donated in full to support the school's educational initiatives.

Parent Seminar: “Senior Secondary Education and Career Pathways” (October 25, 2025)

To provide parents of senior students with timely updates on academic admissions and career planning, our association partnered with the Education and Career Guidance Committee to deliver an informative seminar. The event featured valuable exchanges among social workers, educators, and parents, who shared perspectives on current trends and resources related to further education and career choices.

Parent Seminar: “Be a Prepared Parent for Your Child's Adolescence” (October 14, 2025)

Recognizing the importance of supporting parents through their children's adolescent years, our association organized a seminar led by a social worker from the Jockey Club Embrace Life Series 2.0 - Working with You, Walking with Youth Program. The speaker-built rapport with attendees, offering insights into adolescent development and equipping parents with practical tools to navigate this transitional phase.

Traditional Mooncake Making Workshop (September 25, 2025)

In celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival, our association conducted a hands-on mooncake making workshop to promote Chinese traditions. Participants learned to make salted egg yolk white lotus seed paste mooncakes and tangerine peel red bean paste mooncakes under the guidance of an experienced instructor. The session fostered enthusiastic engagement, with parents joyfully sharing their homemade creations with loved ones.
