BIM Competition 2024

Our school's STEAM team members 1C LIN XINYI, 3A CHENG PUI LAM and 3A CHENG PUI WA participated in the "BIM Competition 2024" organized by THEi Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) Building Services Engineering during the summer holiday and performed outstandingly. Among them, LIN XINYI won the champion and a prize of HK$8,000. CHENG PUI LAM and CHENG PUI WA won the Merit Award and a prize of HK$1,000, bringing honor to the school!

Award-winning project: "Green Knowledge Garden"

Project Introduction: 

LIN XINYI  simulated a campus library using 3D Building Information Modeling (BIM). The shape of the Green Knowledge Garden is like an open book, hoping that students can appreciate the knowledge in the book. The running water in the middle can give students a green environment and an elegant and comfortable reading atmosphere. It uses many new energy-saving, green and environmentally friendly building materials to reduce earth pollution. A garden has also been built in the lower left corner of the library to allow plants to perform photosynthesis to achieve low-carbon development.

Winning project: "A&A. GREENlife Dessert Shop"

Project Introduction: 

CHENG PUI LAM and CHENG PUI WA simulated a campus dessert shop using 3D Building Information Modeling (BIM). The original intention of the establishment of A&A.GREENlife Dessert Shop is to allow more people to enjoy delicious, healthy and environmentally friendly desserts in a relaxing space, while also appreciating and cherishing the beauty that nature brings to mankind, and paying attention to protecting the environment. Encourage human being to do our part to reduce carbon footprint.
