HKIMO Advancement Round 2025

The Math Olympiad Team of Fung Kai No. 1 Secondary School has once again delivered an outstanding performance in the "HKIMO Advancement Round 2025", showcasing their mathematical excellence on a highly competitive stage!  

  

Most notably, 4B XU CHAK YUI has made history by securing third place in the Global Advancement Round, meaning he ranked third overall among all Senior Secondary (Grade 10, Grade 11, and Grade 12) contestants worldwide! This marks the first time in our school's history that a student has reached the top three in the world rankings of the Senior Secondary Group, setting a significant milestone for our school!  

  

His competition included elite math talents from across the world, competing against representatives from China Hong Kong, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Canada, Bulgaria, Thailand, Colombia, Jordan, and China Macau, demonstrating the incredibly high level of competition and his extraordinary achievement!
