Samsung Solve for Tomorrow 2025–2026 - Merit Award

Members of our school’s STEAM Team, 4A HUANG CHUN LAM, ZHANG FENG YU and ZHANG ZHIHAN, participated in Samsung Solve for Tomorrow 2025–2026 in February this year.

The competition was organised by Samsung, co‑organised by the Association of I.T. Leaders in Education, and fully supported by the Education Bureau of the HKSAR Government under the Business‑School Partnership Programme, as well as Hong Kong Education City.

The team developed an innovative project entitled “i‑recybin”, which integrates AI image recognition and smart sorting technologies to allow users to recycle items without understanding classification standards. The system provides real‑time feedback and works with a mobile app to record recycling data, enhancing efficiency and promoting smart environmental sustainability.

The project was awarded a Merit Award in the competition.
